"Capture what you have learned"

Zone Focus

Focusing in on one particular area where action is likely to happen and waiting for the action to take place in that area.

Shutter Speed

In Action photography, this should be as high as the aperture allows if you do not wish to have any unnecessary blurs.

Panning

Having a low shutter speed, focus in on a moving subject and move with them, to keep them in focus, yet have a completely blurred surrounding. This looks cool, and makes you pay attention to the subject as you should.

Waiting for the Pause

During almost any sport or action, there's a transition in directions and movement, a pause, which would generally be a good time to take a picture.
